Hi All

Just built 1st HTPC and have decided on MP after bad experiences with MCE. One issue I have is that when I play files from my JVC Hard Disk Camcorder (which are .mov extension) I get video but no audio. If I want them to have video and audio I have to use windows media player which I am not a huge fan of!!!! All other files I have play faultlessly. I am using the K-Lite Codec pack and FFDShow - ANy thoughts ?????

Check what audio format is in the .mov file with something like mediainfo (GUI version). Then check the audio codecs in ffdshow to see if its selected to be decoded. Below is just the audio codecs section in ffdshow and what I have setup for ffdshow to handle.
