Movies only play in Original Format?

Hey all,

Just upgraded from 0.2.0.0 RC1 to the actual full release of 0.2.0.0 and applied patch 4 so I'm on version 0.2.0.4

Under RC1 all was working great could play all movies in any VIEW, stretch, Normal, Letterbox Etc. But now I can only see the movie if I choose original. I can still hear it but the screen goes black. Nothig else changed other than removing RC1 and installing 0.2.0.4.

Any ideas? I only use MP for playing Movies, DVD's and Music so I could go back to RC1 if need be but I love a lot of the new features with the latest version.

Any ideas?

Known issue; try not using large fonts in XP.

Still didn't work, I changed to normal fonts and have the same issue.

I remeber thai I had to uninstall and intall MP afterwards to get it going... try [search]-ing the forum

Thanks for the info, for now I have just went back to 0.2.0.0. Since I'm only using MP to play video and music it works fine in that version. I would like to get this working though as there are some newer things I see they improved on such as CPU useage that I would really like to take advantage of.
