I thought this would be the best to explain. I use TVEngine3 with daily updated SVN snapshots. If i play DVD with the MPA aiudio codec i get AC3 Dolby Digital II and 5.1 (depending on the DVD). If i use MPA with the same settings as in MyDVD and watch TV i only get PCM sound even if a channel surely broadcasts AC3 sound. Switching the audio tracks has no effects besides a short stutter. Has anyone any ideas what can cause such behaviour?

Country: | Got into the problem a bit deeper with graphedit. If i switch to the AC3 track and connect to the graph via Graphedit, the output of the MPEG Multiplexer and of the MPA codec are both PCM. Don't know where to search now ![]()

Country: | Ok, got a bit further. Checked the TVEngine3 stream with VLC and there all 3 contained audio streams (PCM German,PCM English, AC3 5.1 German) were selectable and working. So there must be something wrong in Mediaportal itself.
