Nope, same results. Tried to remove the ATI HD2600XT and tried with the onboard Intel GA3100 with same results. The problem is hard to describe, the picture quality is great when its not moving. But in action or fast moving sceens it doesn't looks like live tv. I have reinstalled Windows and no other sotfware installed but Mediaportal and PowerDVD.
Are there any filters in FFDSHOW who can solve this? Does ffdshow work with live-tv? Are there any Motion Compensation filter somewhere?
Btw, Im running in 1280x720@50hz

Hi,

I'm seeing the same thing and I have tried all sorts of codecs, ffdshow, Nvidia, PDVD, etc. Great picture for slow movements, awful when watching sports etc. I gives me a headache as well...

Default set 50HPAL in Catalyst

Hi guys,

This has been told and explaned in other threads as well, but the following should solve your problems:

In ATI Catalyst Control Center (advanced mode):

Under HDTV (HDMI) make sure you have enabled 720P@50Hz 0r any other PAL Format that suits your TV (check the specs of your TV)

Under 3D, All settings make sure that the slider of "wait for vertical refresh rate"is completely at the right hand side, Allways ON

This should make sure you do not experience the tearing wih moving scenes watching HD TV or even SDTV.

For more detailed explanation.. do a search in this forum, I have explaned it allready soemwhere else in detail.. but o not have the time to search right now (I have to gow now!)

take care!
