| I am trying to get to the bottom of this problem. When playing video, no programs will display video in vmr9. I have to switch all my players to use vmr7 before it will display video. When I play Mpeg4 videos (Divx, Xvid, Ect.) it displays a black screen, and then plays the audio correctly. I've tried loading the video into Gspot, and it says that it renders properly without any problems. I've tried uninstalling all the codecs, and other such things, all to no avail. I really want to get this problem fixed because MP has decided to drop the VMR7 support. I know that this is not a fault of Media Portal, as other players won't play it either, but I would still like to figure this out. Thank you in advance for any help. |

If thats the case it might not support vmr9 properly (its a DX8.1 card so it *should* work). | |
