Default Not sure if I have a codec problem

Hi one and all.
I have MP's latest build running on my server.
It works great with the exception of fast forward and rewind of DIVX and Xvid files.
The movement is irratic at best. While it does move forward or backwards, the screen jumps, then stops for a few seconds. The bar at the top of the screen (Blue Two) that shows the position in the video goes blank for a few seconds then returns. It seems to take forever to move forward in a video. I am running the latest codec for DIVx, but I am not sure how to confirm the xvid codec.

any suggestions would be appreciated. ITs not the end of the world, but I can see it from here.

Cheers

I use .mp4 which do not allow f/f or r/w using the correct buttons, the workaround is to use the left and right arrow buttons to move in increments of 15, 30, 60secs upwards (settings for this are found in MP setup Movies and can be altered).

This does overcome a sluggish system, (no specifications of your pc) which may be giving stuttering effect whilst fastforward or rewind being used.

If you consider none of the above useful, then post specifications and logs so it can be looked at more thoroughly.

Regards

Check your codecs are fine with Filmerit.
Upload Logs\Pictures etc, use the "Go Advanced" and select the + feature to upload\attach files.
