Synopsis::

When playing .ogg files from my music it takes MP about 10 to 15 seconds to start the track. Also when i stop the track it takes several seonds to stop.

This only happens with ogg, mp3 or wav files play directly.

For ogg i installed the ogg codes from illiminable.
Tried to switch in MP setup from WMP to DirectShow as internal player, but that make no difference.

Any idea's suggestions?

it's in incompatibility between illiminable and mp - i'm not sure if the fault lies with mp or the codecs, but i do know that the developer of illiminable posted here a while back looking for a resolution!

Well, i guess that it is MP, because when i play my ogg files directly in WMP there is no problem. But then again, i'm not a programmer so it is a wild guess.

If anybody can adivse me some other ogg codes to try, please let me know.

Ok,

Solved the problem by deinstalling the illiminable codecs and installed another ogg codec.

I've installed this one:

http://corevorbis.corecodec.org/index.html

And this one:

http://www.free-codecs.com/Vorbis_download.htm

So now it is working as it should be.
