Default PowerDVD7 startup parameters

Hi,

I am running latest stable Mediaportal (0.2.2.0) and would like to use PDVD7 as DVD player. How do I set this up? I've checked the use external player and browsed to PDVD7 .exe file and put %filename% as startup command. What more is needed to get this working?

regards Per-Ola

I can get it to launch, but it just sits there.
I have to manually start the video.
I hope someone knows the answer to this as it's driving me nuts.

Thanks,
Mark

Why do you want to use PowerDVD as the dvd player in the first place?

Does it matter why I want to?
The reasons are many. One is that it works better with my remote.

Just saying, it's easier to get the internal player to work than to try and get an external application to seamlessly integrate. Sure, you can get powerDVD to run them, but you'll lose MP's on-screen display and in most cases you'll have to reconfigure your remote to work with powerdvd.

I googled "powerdvd parameters" and it came up with an interesting link over at xlobby.

I thought I had it, but it didn't work in the end.
