Country:  |  Problems changing video decoder TV-Server Version: TVengine 3 : Rev14915 MediaPortal Version: 0.2.3 RC1 Windows Version: Win XP Pro CPU Type: Sempron 2600 HDD: 250gig Memory: 512Meg Motherboard: Asus Video Card: Radeon 9550 Video Card Driver: ATI Catalyst 2007.0322.2238.38535 Sound Card: Audigy 2 ZS 1. TV Card: Compro T300 1. TV Card Type: Hybrid MPEG2 Video Codec: Nvidia PUREVIDEO MPEG2 Audio Codec: MPA. SPDIF passthrough I've been using Mediaportal for a while now and its has been working pretty well as a standalone system... Until i moved my Compro T300 to a server. It now refuses to change the video codec from MPV from any client on the network. I really wanna use Nvidia as it has hardware decoding. I have been searching for a while through the forums but the closest I came to an answer was to deregister the MPV decoder. All this did was cause My TV to freeze for a second and then not actually turn the TV on. Ive tried changing the codec from all the computers seperately as well as on the TV server. Any help would be much appreciated as I have been tearing my hair out over this!!! Cheers! |

Country:  | You are changing the Codec used under MP setup\Video which is what TVE3 needs, rather than under TV. is this correct.
__________________ Ray\PD Check your codecs are fine with Filmerit. Upload Logs\Pictures etc, use the "Go Advanced" and select the + feature to upload\attach files. |

Country: | Oh!!!! lol  I guess that bit of information could have helped me around 2 months ago...... Ive been changing the DVD player and the TV on every computer but id never seen the movie player decoder. Cheers! |
