| Area: External player MediaPortal Version: 0.2.0.0 RC4$CVS-17.06.2006-23:12:16,46
(2006-06-17) MediaPortal Skin: BlueTwo Windows Version: Windows XP (SP2) .NET CLR Version: 2.0.50727 DirectX Version: 4.09.00.0904 (9.0c) Audio Codec: MPA Decoder Filter Video Codec: MPV Decoder Filter CPU Type: AMD Athlon XP 2200+ Memory: 511 MB Motherboard: VT8366-8233/5 Video Card Model: Radeon 9800 Pro (omega 3.8.252) (128 MB) Video Card Resolution: 1024x768 Audio Card Model: Creative Audigy Audio Processor (WDM) Since MP don't support overlay mode anymore I am using Media Player Classic to play .avi files, it ain't the best solution but it is the only solution (bring overlay mode back). When I opens MP and enter My Movies and play an .avi file everything works just fine. Media Player Classic opens, goes to overlay mode and plays the .avi file. But lets say I want to view a trailer first in My trailers. The My trailer use the internal player, but since I am using hardware support for WMA in my video drivers the video also goes to overlay mode in My trailers, and thats fine. But when I am done viewing the trailers and I go back to my movies and starts playing an .avi file in Media Player Classic the overlayer mode in Media Player Classic don't work anymore. And I have to restart my PC to get in to work again. So to sum up: 1) Enter MP -> play .avi in my movies with Media Player Classic = overlay mode works just fine. 2) Enter MP -> play an trailer in my trailer -> play an .avi in my movies with Media Player Classic = overlay mode don't work. Is there anymore who can help me? Just so you all know, I want to use overlay mode. Cheers Prophecy |

(and when some dev adds better menu handling, multiple calls to modules and plugins with different options and much better dbase handling, it will be love... ah and a nice 3D front end and inter-module messaging system and...)

| I know that Radeon 9800 Pro supports VMR9, but I always gets alot of tearing. And it seems to me that DX9 exclusive mode don't help. I am not sure, but I think it has something to do with that I am runing in clone mode. |
