hi guys,
for a couple of weeks, i dont know when or even IF it started, regardless which movie i play, be it xvid or mkv, i can see a "shiny" frame around the movie picture.

so imagine a movie which has black space above and below the 16:9 movie on your screen. Now, there is a approximately 1mm stripe on each side of the movie picture which is shiny. it mirrors something of the picture because it constantly adapts.

does anyone else experience that problem?
if you could not understand what i mean, please let me know and i will try to explain better

greetz,
k

This can be solved by using crop settings.

It is in the same menu where you can change the ratio (original, stretch).
For my MCE remote, press the 'i'-button trice when watching TV. to go to this menu.

I try it and i don't have on this menu CROP settings, only change the ratio 7 modes here. I think the crop function is possible to use only on TV mode ?

Try all the menus where the "change aspect ratio" is.
There should be one where something like this is:
Top 0 Bottom 0
Left 0 Right 0
Play with this.

Thanks for your tip, but crop function is not visible on My Video, this function is visible only on My TV folder.
