Trying to play some MKV files in MP and I get a strange sound distortion. Almost like its trying to play the audio 2-3 times. HOWEVER, when I open the same movie in WMP it plays fine. No problems what so ever.

I using ffshow, ac3, and media splitter.

Any thoughts?

RadScorpion’s blog Blog Archive MONOGRAM GraphStudio 0.2.7.0

Get graphstudio from above, run mediaportal in windowed mode (alt-enter) start video\tv, run graphstudio, select file and connect to remote graph, this will open a dialogue box hopefully with only a choice of one, select this, it should show you exactly which filters are being used, post back a screenshot (winsnap free) and upload using the forums advanced + feature, also it would help if can post screenshots of any setting you have in the audio codec.

ps. make sure you are using defaultdirectsound as audio renderer, because most problems start with changing this.

Regards

Check your codecs are fine with Filmerit.
Upload Logs\Pictures etc, use the "Go Advanced" and select the + feature to upload\attach files.
