Hi,
Wonder if anyone else has seen this. Some BBC-HD programs have two audio tracks, the first (default) contains a spoken commentary describing what is on screen. The second (with a name of AC3:Eng) seems to be the normal sound track. It's easy to switch to the AC3 track when watching a program, but I wanted to make this the default action, so I set the options in the audio tab of my tv to set the AC3 track to be preferred. However after doing this my up until now very stable system has become very unreliable. Trying to start playback of a recording with these audio streams, often results in just audio, no video. Stopping and re-starting the same program results in my PC re-booting. Switching the audio settings back to the default restores everything back to the rock solid way it was before...

I don't currently have logs for this, but will post some as soon as possible....

Andy

PS One of the programs that seems to have this soundtrack setup is Bonekickers....
