hi I'm currently using Nvidia purevideo for mpeg2 with bob de-interlacing and EVR. It is excellent for relatively still TV but when I watch footy of something with fast moving images it is too blurry and pixalated for my liking. I was wondering if anyone else has fixed this issue or could tell me if it my setup or my TV?

I am upscaling it to 1080p on my Bravia and was wondering if it would be the fact it only runs a 60Hz refesh rate?

The newer models run at 100Hz and are advertised as being better for watching sports?

Thanks guys

Since you are in PAL-land, you should use 50 Hz.

Also: There are perhaps better deinterlacing methods than BOB for fast moving picture.

Good reading: http://www.100fps.com/

EDIT: 2. thought, bob may be the way to go...

No, the best is running 50Hz material @ 50 Hz (dunno about running 50 Hz @ 100 Hz - probably good). 50 Hz material @ 75 Hz is an alternative, but not as good as 50 Hz material @ 50 Hz.

(Did that make sense?)
