I have just bought a new Surround reciever, and has now connected my Shuttle via the coaxial S/PDIF to my reciever. My problem is that after i have playbacked anything with AC3 sound (DVD's or Divx...) Windows crash completely when I close mediaplayer or exits playback in Mediaportal. There is no crash when only stopping the playback for a moment, only when I close the player after AC3 playback or stops the playback in Mediaportal.

There is no problem with PCM to my reciever, so when setting up FFDSHOW audio output to 24 bit, there is no crash what so ever.

I have tried to change for AC3filter instead of FFDSHOW, but exactly the same problem

Any ideas for a solution to my problem???

Default

I had similar problems with one of Realtek 3.9x series of drivers, just switched back to one of the 3.8x and it solved the problem.
