| hello everyone, I was wondering if there is a way to get rid of each and every Windows Media Player popups (warning or notification message boxes with a tick box saying something like "do not show anymore") at once. Such message boxes appear from time to time e.g. when you want to put Windows into sleep and WMP is still running or when you play a file with an extension unknown to WMP (I have an impressive list of files with different exotic extensions and I'd find quite useful not to be bugged constantly by WMP). I was not able to find any related parameter to 'opt-out' within WMP. I've googled a bit but neither could I find anything relevant. Does WMP stores these settings in the registry? where? thanks for your help |
