Country: | The only ones that we know are working perfectly for dvd's are M$ with their own dvd navigator PowerDVD 7 using its own navigator, not sure with PDVD8 as you cannot select it's navigator in config, and as i rip all my dvd's to mp4 or now h.264 have not noticed.

| ok thats fine but if i change the codec to say powerdvd 7 will this mean that when i select a ripped dvd from my movies it uses the powerdvd 7 codec or will it continue to use the codec specified for my movies which would be powerdvd 8 or will they use the codec specified under dvd |

Country: | The only way of proving this is in windowed mode (alt-enter). and connect to remote graph using graphstudio or similar. Codec merits do have a habit of overriding any MP config codecs, as much as we wish they would not.
