Synopsis::

I am having a problem playing some downloaded TV shows. They are in xvid format. When i play them, they are a little laggy and jumpy. The audio is a little off as well. When i play the video with WMP i get the same thing, but when i play with VLC they play perfectly. I assume it is some sort of codec issue, but i can't figure it out. Any ideas?

What codec are you using then? A quick install of Koepi's build of Xvid should play fine.

I installed Koepi's codec and the problem persits. The problem isn't that i cant play the video, it is just that it is very jerky and not smooth.

Get a copy of graphedit, and render one of the movies in it. See what codec is being used.
