Just before I look further - can you just confirm your setup:
Using IR Server Suite?
Also on XP?

No wait.

First try to change the files in MediaPortal\InputDeviceMappings\defaults

I know there is a warning.txt not to change it, but just give it a try - AFTER MAKING A BACKUP.
It should contain "Microsoft MCE.xml"

Try the following code instread of the existing:

Quote:
<button name="Recorded TV" code="72">
<action layer="0" condition="*" conproperty="-1" command="WINDOW" cmdproperty="49845" sound="click.wav" />
</button>
<button name="Guide" code="38">
<action layer="0" condition="WINDOW" conproperty="49843" command="ACTION" cmdproperty="10" sound="back.wav" />
<action layer="0" condition="*" conproperty="-1" command="WINDOW" cmdproperty="49843" sound="click.wav" />
</button>

I have made previous custom button mappings in IR Server. Maybe that file and directory is only populated when you customize something. Anyway, René, glad it is working now.

I see on your web page, that it contains a MP plugin:
Screenshots | For The Record

This is what is missing at the 1st post here.
That's why I never switched.

All up-to-date information is indeed on our site, but I see your point. I'll work on bringing the first post of this thread a bit more up-to-date too! Thanks for the feedback!

I tried to install it yesterday, using the installation guide.
The only thing I'm missing, is channels tab, is channels, there is none.

The database login succeeded.
Any suggestions?
