I've noticed that often the boxover.js doesn't work.. I get an error in both IE and Firefox. It seems the Self Contained Web Server occasionally adds some garbage at the end of the file which upsets the broswers parsers.. has anyone else seen this??? I feel I'll need to wait until Big_Kev is back for him to look at the code..I noticed this issue in FireFox 3.0's javascript debugger.. if you keep hitting refresh until the boxover stops working then look at the boxover.js in the debugger you see random characters appended to the end of the script.

Hello there. I am having some troubles with the web interface. As soon as the service is started, I get flooded with Socket error messages (see attachment). I am wondering which connection is reset by whom and why?

Got this up and running on a MySQL db in 30 minutes!

Brilliant addition to MP, my setup just keeps getting better and better! This is exactly what I was looking.

Many thanks for such a fine piece of kit

Today I installed Risu's Custom HTML Interface pages. I have to say that the layout is quit nice. Thanks a lot!!
I think this is definitely the most valuable web interface of the world. I once installed its WebGuide, but then you have to installed a separate web server. I like this web interface. I'm working on a dutch translation for it. As soon as I finish it i'll post it here.

Thanks Big_Kev for this awesome Web Interface. Makes life alot easier. I was wondering if you would consider adding some features:

1. Option to edit scheduled recordings details most importantly pre and post buffer. I think most times ppl would like to be able to tweak their recording lengths remotely in case something runs over etc.
2. I have alot of channels so the program guide takes quite some time to load, would showing 50 channels at a time for example speed this up? I assume it wouldn't since the database query is quite broad, perhaps limiting the initial query to the first 50 channels would speed things up?
3. The auto-login per user feature, can you possibly change this to allow mutiple entries, and networks? For example, 192.168.1.x, 10.1.1.5, 10.2.1.5

Thanks!

UPDATE: I noticed the TV Guide query pins my CPU, I think scoping down the query would probably be beneificial overall.

Hello,

I have just installed the latest version of the Web interface 0.2.0.16 (excellent).
It work superbe except two bugs already mentionned, i think, still existing in this version.

1. I shedule a manual recording, the schedule is accepted, created in the database and used by the tv server.
But when i click on the view scheduled recording in the web interface, the view is empty.

2. In manual recording, the field "title" is not used in the created entry. The string "Manual" is used.

Except that, it is a very nice program.

Do you actually use the TV Server? this needs MSSQL or MySQL installed to run.
If you use the internal MP TV engine then you wont be able to use this web interface.

I hope this makes sense, or otherwise, I may be misunderstanding you.
