Finally got round to installing it, and after a fight with my router, it is now working. However one question - the iPIMP logo look pretty bad on my iphone, but if i access with firefox it looks ok. any ideas?

Oh and is the card status part implemented? am i missing it somehow?

While you watch TV, drink in the pub and generally have a good time, Team MediaPortal are hard at work making MediaPortal better. So think about that before you make any complaints!

Hmm - looks OK on my touch - is there any option's on your phone to turn down resolutions or something (clutching at straws) - anyone else see this?

The card status stuff is in v2.1.1. Looks like i fubar'd the upload this morning as the download link is still for version 2.1.0 - it should be iPiMPSetup2.1.1.1119.exe.

I'll upload later this afternoon - sorry for the inconvenience.

Great - and as discussed, here is a thread for gathering information on a spin-off MP4 transcoder for recompressing those .ts files into MP4 for normal viewing (i.e on TV and not iPhone sized) - [IDEA] iPiMP Spin-off: Simple MP4 Transcoder for MP

BTW: the iPIMP image looks fine now with 2.1.1!

However I can't get the TV Status section working - "TVService is unknown", "iPiMPWeb is unknown" - any ideas? I installed over 2.1, should I have uninstalled first? (Could it be as im running RC2?)

Have you installed iPiMP on your TV server or another box? You will get this message if it's not running on the TV server as the iPiMPWeb service runs as the LocalSystem account which has no network privileges. If you are running in this scenario then you'd have to create a dedicated admin account on both machines and run the iPiMPWeb service as that account.

It's running on the tv server. I'm reinstalling everything this weekend anyway, so I'll see if it works on a clean install.

big thanks for this great plugin!
working perfectly in local network but can't get it working from outside. i tried to do port forwarding on my dlink router/modem, created new virtual server with local ip address of my htpc and port 80 (default). when i try to connect from outside I enter my external ip address of my modem followed by port (xx.xx.xx.xx:80), i can see safary is trying to connect, even see '.../login.a..' in address bar but just waits and after some time returns error message 'server stopped responding'.
what else can i try to get it working?

tia,

What port are you using? the Mobile provider (phone company) may be blocking certain ones. just a guess!
