How to start a support thread

If you think that you have found a bug in a MediaPortal SVN TEST BUILD, please start a bugreport ::here::.

If you think that you have found a bug in a TV-Server SVN TEST BUILD, please start a bugreport ::here::.

Before you start a new thread:

Make sure that your system (windows, codecs and drivers) is up to date and that your system is matchin the requirements.
Have a look at our wiki and read the manual + userguides. (maybe the solution is already there )
Have a look at our bugtracker, maybe your problem is already know
Search the forums for your problem, it's very likely that someone else already encountered the same problem.

How to start a support thread:

Choose a meaningful title for your thread.
At the moment you start a new thread in the support forums, the hardwarespecification template will be added automatically. If the template is empty, then you have not filled out your specifications in the usercp yet.
note: You MUST attach a complete hardwarespecification to your support thread!
Add a detailed, step by step description of your problem.
If your problem occurs inside MediaPortal or the configuration program, then ATTACH all *.log files located in MediaPortal\logs to your post.
ALL REQUIRED LOGFILES can be easily exported to one zip file by using the ::MediaPortal Test Tool::, located in your Start Menu.
Do NOT copy/paste your logfiles (or large parts of them) in your post.

Please note that support threads, which are missing the required information posted above will not be processed and maybe also deleted.
