Hello!

I am also using the Antec Fusion 430 (Silver). Is there a way to use/map the volume knob in Mediaportal (like next/previous)l?

Thank you, tht did the trick

I followed your great guide now, and I only have one strange thing left

De-Interlace

If I use PowerDVD8 deinterlace works great, but within MP there's no deinterlace.
Played with some settings and codecs, but no luck

Anyone who can help, please?

TIA,
Para

Armand, are you still using the 7.01 imon drivers? I swear I had things working with the 7.20 drivers but now all I get is the "Failed to locate assembly MSASSTATE" error launching the CybrDisplay plugin config.

Are you using Hardware Acceleration? In the MP configuration there's a DirectX section where you can set the PowerDVD settings. Also in PowerDVD there's a advanced section where you can specify deinterlacing. Deinterlacing for me still is a hit or miss situation with different ATI drivers, CCC and PowerDVD, OS settings. If you read through my fp you can see my own struggle with the subject

Yep still @ 7.01, no need to change cause it works fine if it ain't broken don't fix it Try your luck in the CybrDisplay support thread.

Hey Armand, thanks for a very useful thread. I have a very similar setup to yours and it's almost ready.

I do have a question about the Logitech 525 and the IR Server Suite. I installed the Server Suite as in the page you linked, and it works well in MediaPortal, but that's about it. I installed PowerDVD (as well as that "plugin" to launch it from the MP root menu) in order to play HD DVD and BluRay, and this all works well, except I can't control PowerDVD with my Logitech remote.

Has anyone had any experience with this sort of configuration? What is generally required to get the remote to work within PowerDVD as well as MediaPortal?

Thanks,

Dave

Well I have a 5400+ X2 which is 2.8GHz at 65W. I think that phenom you want is also going to have a TDP of 65W. I have no fan on my ninja mini and I have both case fans set to low and my temperatures are great! (Except the 80C mystery temperature) Just thought I'd share.
