Post HTPC - Dual Pentium Power :-) old recycled server

Hi HTPC-Junkys!

I am from Germany thus finalaccused please my bad English. In addition, wanted not to withhold not German speaking humans mine HTPC

It began in such a way the fact that I dismantled an old customer server and me the Mainboard with the two CPUs directly in the eye pleases is. The board ran still, however several Elkos were already blown up. With ebay I ordered and in the board exchanged new Elkos.
Only I thought this Pentiums with 2 CPUs the whole too loud, but will have very low capacity. Thus those can be operated nearly already passively cooled.
I installed simple CPU-Cooler and removed the small cry-exhaust and built a 120mm exhaust with 800 Upm over them. nearly loudless, and the CPUs runs with 40 degrees

I built the 2.5" harddisk with rubber bands in the 3.5" pit. like that it is separately from the housing mechanically however this is also so already very quiet

In approximately 2 months of long work and tuning I could finish htpc. but at in such a way one turns out to be screwed always however few can one with it now that make, to which it was built.

The largest problem with that longest spends was that furnishes and configures to the tv-card. With a friend is I still to already waits the third card there for my employment.

I will place in detail soon still one to description from my htpc-project to the order. these it however only into German will give.

Thanks for your interest. Much luck with your htpc-projects

Naja, was heißt ‚fertig‘.

Just a note: Your graphic card is not DX9 capable. Might cause problems...?

I like the Mozart case!

THX for your feedback!

Yeah, the Mozart-Case is wonderful. It's also one the cheapest, about 80 euro.

And it's sooooo BIG
