Country: | really great setup. I guess you could organize a little the confusion around the laptop, but the fact that on the living room there's only the tv rules. Awesome job. Myself, I intend to use media portal on my home desktop in my room, with a tv connected to it and my toshiba remote ![]() |

Sure send me a message and Ill send on the details, but its pretty easy really, take the project mayhem III skin, and modify the mes_films.xml file. Last edited by jay_galway; 2007-10-28 at 11:08. Reason: Automerged Doublepost | |

| Thanks for sharing your setup. For my 2nd HTPC build, I'm planning on a regular desktop connected to a HDTV via a 25ft HDMI cable(my first used 25ft coax). I never understood everybody's desire for a loud pc in the living room and love your hidden setup (mine is/will be 2 rooms away). I use(d) RF remotes and RF joysticks with mine. Anyway.. I thought of the laptop route myself, but think I'll go with a desktop again just because it's easier and cheaper to expand. But it was really nice to see the laptop would of worked so well. |

| From what I've seen.. 50ft is maximum but 25ft should be fine. Put up your desktop pics when your done.. My HTPC build is still a few months away but I can't wait. |
