Sorry if you mentioned this, but isn't the MSI Mega noisy (loud fans)?

I'm considering a simular cheap thin with Antec's NSK1300 ("Aria" - just made cheaper and in black)

Features:

* 4 Drive Bays
1 x 5.25h External drive bay
Up to 3 x 3.5h HDD drive bays
* Includes universal optical drive bay cover
* Flip-Up drive cage for easy drive installation
* Three-layer side panel (aluminum, plastic, aluminum) dampens system generated noise
* Thermal interface tape to dissipate heat out from HDD to the cage
* 300 Watt Power Supply with Universal Input and PFC
* Motherboard ? Fits in MicroATX Form Factor (9.6h x 9.6h or 24.5cm x 24.5cm)
* Four Expansion slots
* 2 x USB, 1x Audio In & Out
* Blue LED light on both sides of the front panel to indicate that the power is on
* Net Weight: 13.1 Ibx / 5,9 kg
* Gross Weight: 13.7 Ibs / 6,2 kg
* Dimension: 7.9h (H) x 10.6g (D) x 13.2h (W)
* Box Dimension: 10h (H) x 12.5h (D) x 14.5h (W)

... the PSU has a 120mm fan

Is only noisy for about 5 seconds when you turn it on as the CPU fan's turn on full but once the bois as loaded they go silent. Have it on all day and can't hear the fans. Just depends on what your looking for and want from a HTPC.

Looking good - I realy like your setup :-)

Does the Hyundai TV turn on like a monitor when you turn on/wake up your HTPC with the MCE remote?

Hi , I want to ask if you can play radio and both analog and digital TV from
MP. I'm asking you because with some hybrid cards that's a problem.

Sorry for my English, I'm Greek.

Default New Pix's!!!!!

Just thought I'd give you an update as got it all set up with a new TV stand and everything. It's just that as the box is so small I think i've out grown it and not sure what to do now. Did think about getting a new case and transfering everything into that as not sure the TV server is going to be stable engough to be used as your main TV for a while. As was going to build a server which held all my files as now got over 3TB spread over my current network.

Any suguestion or tips you've found please share as would love to hear them.

Question Front Display on MSI 865

Hi,
did anyone get the front-display to work with Media Portal? I tried several setting in Joe Dalton's plug-in, but so far without success.

Regards,
Gemini

Hi gemini,

I've tried that plugin but could get anything to work, would be great if you could.

BTW,

The skin i'm using in the pictures is MePo Black, however just changed to Foofaraw as it's a lot cleaner looking. Not sure if i'll switch back but nice for a change.

I love the TV the only problem i've got is that it won't go to sleep if theres no input. Which is so as my box shuts down after a while but the tv stays on just flashing no input!!!!!

Anyway love MP and can't wait for a new version.
