I started spending 6months ago on getting my home a bit modernized, like installing a network (LAN & WiFi), 24hour broadband; LCD's for the bedrooms and of cause my MediaPortal HTPC. I've got a hundred more things I would like to do, like get the TV3-Server working properly so that MP is available in the bedrooms, sorting my surround sound out, install a WiFi camera and security system and much more. But unfortunately for now I've got to slow down, every time I take out money my long time girlfriend start hinting that I'm probably spending her engagement ring's money on all my toys. Any way, below are some pictures of my "ThermalRock Mystic" box if you are interested. Cheers GeoV Last edited by geov; 2007-12-27 at 11:51. |

Country: | in the second photo, what is that circle all the way to the left. Not the power and reset, but above it? Looks very nice

Country: | Its a look-nice gimmick, it lights up as you increase the volume...I was going for something that looks like an old transistor radio but with a bit of spunk. Cheers GeoV |

| Hey like the look of your setup. Regarding your keyboard/mouse and remote. Do they all use the MCE IR reciever, or did you have to install 2 separate USB IR Recievers. One for the remote, and one for the keyboard and mouse? |

Country: | Thanks.... The keyboard and mouse are both bluetooth, so I have a bluetooth dongle plugged into the USB. The reception is about 8 meters, best buy I ever made... Cheers Geo |

Country: | Yes...very easy.. First buy a "Microsoft MCE Remote" with two IR-Blasters and install. Then download and install the 'MCE Replacement Plugin' found under this link.... http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/la...3.html?t=15793 Install and configure everything and let me know how it goes... For interest sake, which TV-Card do you use? Also which decoder model do you have....if you use the dual-view I can send you the IR-Commands used by the 'MCE Replacement Plugin'. Cheers GeoV |

Country: | Hi All I have added onto my system, decided to add proper sound. I already had the 5-surround speakers, so I bought an additional Active-Sub and a 5.1 Amp that has 100 Watts RMS per channel. It’s not the best system out there, but it is loud enough to make your blood pump and the furniture vibrate. Cheers GeoV |
