Install on Vista 64 - Visual C++ not recognized

I successfully installed RC01 on a brandnew system without much of a problem. The only things are that Visual C++ Redist. has already been installed but the installer did not recognize it. Therefore it got downloaded and reinstalled again. Hopefully with the same 64bit version.

Also a dialog window popped up that asked me to download a file by myself. I clicked onto the link what lead me to a Microsoft site to choose a download. I remember that it has to do with the 64bit version but it was pretty tricky to understand what it asked for. I have choosen one version and it seems that it was the right one. The instructions are not so clear what to do there and I was just guessing.

Hi,
You need the x86 version to run MediaPortal since it is a 32bit app, same goes for codecs(it needs x86 codecs & not x64, cause app it's x86. When a x64 app runs it needs codecs for x64

)
