I have currently uninstalled MediaPortal 0.2.3.0 and MediaPortal 2 Infinity. When I try to install MP1, the installer seems to think that a very old version of MP still exists and therefore will not install. I am 100% sure that any old version of MP has been installed because as well as uninstalling with the uninstallers I also checked to see if the folder had been deleted which they have been. Please help. |

Country: | Can you please navigate with regedit to the following key "SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Uni nstall" and look if any of the following exist: {4B738773-EE07-413D-AFB7-BB0AB04A5488} {F7444E89-5BC0-497E-9650-E50539860DE0} {FD9FD453-1C0C-4EDA-AEE6-D7CF0E9951CA} {87819CFA-1786-484D-B0DE-10B5FBF2625D} MediaPortal 0.2.3.0 RC3 If so can you take a screenshoot of the right side window with all the subkeys listed ? Country: | So you have "0.2.3.0 RC2" install left. If this is not the case please use a WindowsInstaller cleanup tool to remove remaining keys and database entries...then try again with RC1 refresh. Simone |
