not a bug Setup of MP1.0 ist not working for me

Hi,

i have problems to install the new mediaportal version.
to install the new version i uninstalled/deleted my old mediaportal and restarted my computer.
now i downloaded the refreshversion.
started the MediaPortal.DeployTool.exe.
- choosed german as language
- Start Setup
- No, I don't won't to use it as TV
- Advanced Setup Configuration
- Now after i chose a Path and Clicked "Continue" I get a error message (Screenshot)

Hope you can help me :/

what happens when you click "weiter" in the error message?
can you continue with the installaton?

If I click "Weiter" (Continue) it returns to the Path-Selection-Window.
I chose different Paths on different Harddrives but i still get the error message.
I created Paths manual in Windows and chose them for the setup (thought maybe has something to do with creating folders), but doesn't work.

hannota,

can you please extract all the content from "MediaPortal Setup 1.0RC1 refresh.exe" to a directory of your choise and then overwrite MediaPortal.DeployTool.exe with the one attached to this post.

Report back if everything is now working please...

didn't take any effect...still the same error

now i installed mediaportal manual by opening the package-mediaportal.exe

hope that you can fix the bug

32 or 64 bit ?

If still not working, do a new screenshoot and a new txt file with the complete text of the exception.
