i do not like the constand re-creation of the "All Channels" group in gerenal.
not for MyTV, not for MyRadio.

Hi,
back again with some news

Added the following features:
- Added a new "virtual" card to the TvServer named "RadioWebStreamCard". Webstream channels can now be mapped to this card. (Recording functionality will follow)
- Added a new section to SetupTv under "Radio channels" named "Radio combinations". Now you are able to combine radio channels (even DVB-x with webstreams)
NOTE: Only mapped channels will appear in the combinations
- Added a setup form to the "MyRadio" plugin of TvPlugin (see attached screenshot) with 3 new options which are already implemented:
1) Show "All channels group": If not checked the "All channels" group will not be shown
2) Remember last group: Saves the last visited channel group and jumps directly into it after a the next start
3) Group to show in root: Select the channel group to show directly in the root folder (no group folder is created)
If you choose "(none)" the behaviour is as it was before.

I hope to have implemented the most suggestions which will fit the most users around

Maybe you should move the new configuration to the "Television" section since the settings of the TV-part of the Server-plugin were already moved there.

EDIT: Out of curiosity... the "idChannel" collumn in the table "channel" starts with "670" for internetradio channels. Does this have any purpose or did you just choose a number way behind all possible channelnumbers one could get in a TV-Card channelscan ?

Hi

Just playing with the shoutcast functionality now... using the Bass engine the stream runs for arouns 13-20 seconds then pauses, then continues for another 5-7 seconds and pauses again... and on and on....

using internal player has no such problems...

now could be that something isnt registered.... as i dont use an install i use my own builds from svn

maybe i have missed registering something?

edit:- looks like its the one stream... http://83.170.117.247:80 others on different ports seem ok

svn16362 - DVB Radio is working again in multiseat!!!!

I assume since no-one is taking credit for this in the changelog that it is accidental, just like the last time. No matter, just happy it works. Here's some info on station change times:

DVB to DVB - 10-12sec
DVB to Webstream - 1-3sec
Webstream to Webstream - 1-3sec
Webstream to DVB - 10-12sec

This is as fast as dvb-t and dvb-s radio has ever been for me in multiseat. No locks or crashes yet.

The only bug I've found so far is in Management Console - Radio - Radio Combinations. Combining the stations works fine, but the second entry does not get deleted, it remains listed with no associated card.

Great work guys! I finally have radio, but only on my server pc...

Are you still working on getting FM radio stations to play on network clients? As I said, it works perfectly on the server PC. I do see all the stations incl. mappings on my client PC, but don't get any music... MP hangs and needs to be closed via the Windows Task Manager.

Why, oh why, has MP always differentiated between radio & tv? Basically Radio is TV minus Video? The old Radio Plugin did not even make this differenciation, it just showed video if a webstream had video?

Why not have MTV in the "Radio" Section (and rename it "Live Music") and have streams in the appropriate areas (TV) as well?

Well, let us hope that MP II will be a better setup.
