DVB-T HDHomeRun

Hi guys,

Looking for a MP dev who might be interested in playing/testing with the DVB-T HDHomeRun.

The HDHomeRun is a network attached digital tuner. The US version has been out for a while - 2 x ATSC/ClearQAM tuners. We will be releasing the DVB-T version soon (2 x DVB-T tuners).

The US version works with MP RC2 and we have run limited testing of MP with the DVB-T version.

I was able to get an early sample DVB-T HDHomeRun unit allocated for MP dev use.

The goal is to verify compatibility and to avoid anything breaking in the next few MP releases and HDHR driver releases

Too bad that I live in a house where I have DVB-C.

Hi.

Dou you mean that hdhomerun for Europe doesn't support DVB-C signal?

Big mistake! many people have that kind of signal at home!

What about a tuner with DVB-T and DVB-C?

Hi,

There is software work to do before DVB-C support is official. Right now we are focused on polishing DVB-T.
