Country: | If getting stuttering, then logs really help as most times it is a codec issue. Thanks

| Portal Tester | Just installed Tv server and MP to version 17278. I made a small 15 min recording with the latest svn and then copied over the tsreader.as file into the MP and TV server dir. I tried to play it, but it would just go to a black screen for about a min, creating huge logs. Logs are below. Edit. I just tried the latest tsfilechecker and it seems to crash. I can't seem to get any logs with MPTV client in VLC. however, I can view a TS file just fine over on my other PC. No skips.. seems to play great. Here is the graph its using to render the file.

Country: | Hi Asidie Did you see Gibman's comment about svn being foobar, and the link to tvserver.exe in his post.

| Portal Tester | I did see his post... but I am running the VERY latest private build 17278. The version he was talking about was 17267. I am sure he has updated his issue with the code in 17267 and fixed any SVN's after that.

| News for Build 286.. Author: gemx Date: 2008-02-04 07:22:33 -0800 (Mon, 04 Feb 2008) Log Message: ----------- - This should fix recordings for NA users - Added WriteFakePAT/PMT to the recorder class - Removed some interface methods. - The Recorder now sets it's own pids to record. No need for TvService to set them - The complete pmt descriptor is copied for the new PMT Time for test it tonight :-) Great!!! Thanks Gemx :-) |

| Hi guys, I experienced a problem with TVServer where the autoscan feature would allocate wrong frequencies, Vid and AuidoID numbers for channels which share frequecies etc (namely BBC FOUR etc). Just wanted to say that I tried this new TSWriter, cleared and rescanned my channels, and it all works now. HOORAY! Thanks to everyone in the forums (specifically Gemx), and to the mediaportal team. What an excellent piece of software. Thanks Ben M |
