Hi

Gemx is changing the way Timeshifting and Recording works on TVServer, This change will make a fix for NA users that where able to timeshift but not record some channels
He is changing a lot of things, so the next couple of days we will have some builds that are not very stable. So let's be testing and reporting.. I'm sure that the final result is going to be great!!

Thanks Gemx for your work

Indeed! gemx you're doing an awesome job! I've been watching TV tonight and everything is just running so well, channel changes are fast and smooth, and they seem to be just as fast at the remote client as local!

This has worked before, but I do not remember the rev when I did it last time.

I will attach the logfiles.
It now works again with rev 17325. Thank you.

Gemx, unfortunately live tv didn't survive one PCR rollover in the stream. TV had been playing for approx 2 hours and after hitting the PCR rollover in the stream client staarted a "slideshow" as the timestamps weren't ok anymore.

I can't tune my existing ATSC channels (no audio/video found) and a re-scan crashes TVService. I can post details/logs when I get home. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Those lines are definately send by the broadcaster. You can use the crop setting in MP to cut few pixel lines of the video frame to get rid off those.
tourettes,

I'm just back from my holidays and maybe I lost some acumen because I'm not able to find this option in my MP Setup.

Can you be so kind to point me to the right direction please ?

Simone

When tv plugin is running open the context menu and there is crop settings menu item.

gemx, tourette,

so far using TsWriter from build 17368 all channels are found by the scan and can be both previewed in SetupTV.exe and timeshifted in MP.

Great job, really great job...

gary,

yup, same problem here. i can confirm that the latest svn(s) break the ability to view clear qam, and that the "no audio/video error" is given. i can't preview the channels from tvserver either--same error. reverting to 02/02/08 fixes it.

I have an issue with DVB-T HD. Recordings are 0kb and timeshift won't play just then a single frozen frame. If I start the timeshift in manual control then play the live ts buffer file with VLC it will play.

I'm using a Dvico Fusion HDTV and I have the core AVC codec installed

I have uploaded a raw ts dump to the team-mediaportal ftp server:

NZ_MediaWorks_570_T_TV3_FTA.ts

Cheers,
mcraenz
