Help us testing the new TsWriter

i'm using the revision because 02/02/08 because i lost the ability to watch clear qam channels somewhere around 02/10/08.

for what it's worth, the "can watch live tv, cannot watch recorded tv" bug may be rooted in the code that takes the livetv.ts files and merges (?) them all together into .\RecordingName. if i start a recording, then, begin to watch it, say, five minutes after it has begun (so staggered by about five minutes), i can watch the recording fine.

if i record a show from earlier, however, i only make it about two minutes before mp simply stops playing the video file.

Has anyone else noticed that ATSC has stopped working a week or two ago? I tried my existing channels and a re-scan. The re-scan doesn't seem to find audio/video PIDs. Here is part of my TsWriter.log, I can provide more logs/details if that would help.

I have noticed this as well, re-scan did not help. Will post logs when I get home.

For those who have the above problems with ATSC, could you please try the attached TvLibrary and report back with the log files?

Running vista 32 evaluation copy Build 6001
SVN 17388.
channel scan dvb-t results in tv service crash with messages from windows following first transponder.
channel scan dvb-s again fails after first transponder, no message though, from services tvservice is unresponsive following failure, can't sop/start.

Had to reinstall sql server to get a connection.

Fire dtv viewer has no picture only audio until reinstall of ati8.2 driver followig install of this and yesterdays svn.

If you require further testing please respond within next 2 hours while I'm out. Will check posts prior to reverting to earlier svn.

for x64 users, make sure you re-test with today's svn, because earlier version were compiled with "any cpu", that causes issues on x64 OS'es.

Alright then. I have a frozen picture with Eurosport.

It doesn't matter whether I watch on the server itself or on a network client.
Also, the filter does not scan all channels. For instance, a few Sport1 channels are skipped. But then again, I don't have a subscription for those channels, so what the heck...

gemx - still no ATSC. Only difference is MP locks up completely instead of telliing no audio/video. Here is the TsWriter log, looks similar to before. Thanks so much for checking this out.
