Any news? The SVN for RC1 is already out for a few days, so can you please tell us something about your progress with the patch?

I dont understand why media portal cant use my software card when other directshow programs can, tho i use the dialog box from the card in the filter graph to set the channel, but it is poosible. virtualdub and vlc both run my card this way. I understand that parts of this patch are in the build already and that your working on a different way to fix the problem. Can i ask what the other way is, and how long do you think it will take to get it into media portal(it would be nice if mediaportal 1.0 include both hardware and software support straight off the bat). ( i would also donate a far amount of money~$50 if this was included in 1.0).

we need logs to understand what happens...so please provide a complete bug report as reported here: Bugreport Rules!

Hi all,

the patch for SVN 19127 say me "Could not update DB. Tried to restore the old files."

I have a clean installation of RC1 Refresh + SVN and I want to watch analog channels with my HVR-4000.

Any suggestion ?

Hi,
it could be that there were some changes so that the patch isn't working anymore.

I will post an updated version after the next SVN release.

Updated patch in first post for latest public svn build.

Please ensure that you have removed the patch before updating. Otherwise the db update will fail.

I will try to reproduce it. Unfortunately I have switched my tv card and don't need th patch anymore for myself.

For a better understanding it would be good, if you could tell me something about your specs (especially the OS).
