Yes, I know this problem. But this problem only affects MP itself. AFAIK you just have to use the "Dialogs.dll" of MP from the previous build.

With this patch you can also modify the priority of each encoder. It is also possible to add new encoders by adding new entries to the new db table.

PowerDVD only includes the CyberLink Decoder and not the encoder. The encoder is included in products like PowerProducer.

@misterd This SVN also has issues with missing elements of the tables in the TV Sever Database, it will most likely be ditched by everyone next week so i'd be grateful if you could complie it againsat a hopefully more useful SVN next week

I installed PowerProducer to my PC, but still MP Tv-server cannot find encoder?
any other good tips?

Perhaps they have changed the name of their encoder. But you should have a look at the wiki: UserGuides/SW-Cards_setup - MediaPortal Wiki Documentation
You could also modify the db table and add new encoders to it, if you know how to edit db tables. More informations on that can be found in this thread.

If I don't forget it, I will recompile it for the next public weekly build.

Last update does not work for me, stops any dvb or analog channel from working,

get this error message when i try to tune any channel
