| Portal Member | I don't know if anyone is even remotely interested in this , but here's a small diagram to illustrate the TvScheduler architecture:![]() There are three assemblies that are referenced by any code that wishes to talk to the TvScheduler WCF services:

Not yet, I'm afraid. Unfortunately my laptop broke down two weeks ago, and HP seems to have delivery problems for the new one I ordered So development has slowed down a bit. But more is coming, so stay tuned... ![]() In the mean time: I still want to add a manual schedule possibility to try and complete the feature set. Right now it's very customizable to set up your schedules, but I guess there may still be situations in which you would want to add a totally manual schedule: record channel TVFoo from 20:00 until 21:00 for example. My question is: how "powerful" should this manual schedule be? Should it offer a daily/weekly repeat? Anything else? What do you all think? | |

| Portal Tester | For me personally manual isnt important at all. Never used that feature. But probably others could find it useful...

| Portal Tester | Dunno if there is anyone out without EPG-Data. But if I learned one thing: "There is nothing out there that doesnt exist". So I would say, have an option: yes, make it "advanced": no.

| I can see an option that I'd use a repeating manual record for. We have regular documentary hour on one chanel that my wife always wants to watch something else. But the name of the segment changes so a manual repeat on that chanel would be good. Especially if it still recorded the program name and details rather than manual SBS_1930-2030 which would tend to be rather uninformative. So advanced is good but only time, channel & daily/weekly would be required for my scenario. Thanks for all the great work. This definately gets the scheduleing upto par with Windows MCE if not well beyond it. Thanks dvdfreak
