Hi,

hope my tv server now working fine.

Record schedules work but i can't delete the recordings. I get an empty page http://[server]/deleterec
My record folder is d:\capture is the maybe the problem?

An idea is to add an label where you can see how many disk space do you have.

would it be possible to add an option for cookie expire-time... so users could maybe keep the cookie 'forever' or untill they click a log off button or something like that.... very useful for lan where security isn't an issue

• Priority Display / Adjust
• Variable Timeout setting - See "Configuration" tab in Manager Program
• Change the number of hours to display in Horizontal Guide - now 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24 hour options - see "Appearance" tab in Manager program
• Display available disk space on Recordings page - only works if Web Interface on same machine as recording folder otherwise returns 0.
• Automap feature for logos - If you already have your logos in your thumbs directory, you can automap them to the channel names in the grid.

Hey,

tested the new version 0.1.0.8 and the delete of records work well. one thing only the program delete the .mpg/.ts file but not the .xml file or the folder where the capture is stored.

One strange issue is in the logo part. The auto map work well all channels are set correct but when i open the website the logos are not at the right place. When i look in the thumbs folder in wpwebmanager the thumbs are not labeled correct. i.e. the logo 25 must have the name 22 and 23 must named 20 this is for a couple of channels but not for all.

The TV Service function and the Time Interval for Horizontal Display working perfect
The priority change work too but i don't test recording with priority.

Something forgotten to test?

hey Big Kev,

I've been watching the progress and what can I say? You are incredible.
I'm still away from home (currently in Buenos Aires) but couldn't wait any more. I remotely logged into my home (Melbourne) and installed.

Thanks to great documentation, everything worked perfectly.

Now for a few possible additions...
1) now there are functions like delete and add recordings, is it possible to set user permissions? I figure three groups. 1 to view only, 1 to add and 1 level that can delete.

2) if you try to delete a program that doesn't exist (IE, the file has been deleted but the entry still is in the database) at the moment the app gives an error "delete failed". If this is the case, can the database entry be deleted anyway? When I'm away, I remote log in and delete shows from the drive, but it's too hard to do this with MP to get the shows out of the database via RDC. Or does it work this way already and I have some other issue? Not sure...

While I have not had a chance to use this yet I have read most of this thread and this seems like a well developed addon.
Will you add the ability to stream live TV and recordings across a network with this server/interface? At the moment I have 2 mediaportal PC's downstairs but upstairs in my office I am using an online TV guide in conjunction with the MPTVClient v1.1. I find using mediaportal in a small window a somewhat slow and clunky way of getting television, beautiful on the big screen, less so in a window.

next version 0.1.0.9 tested.

The issue with the channel logo was my fault i don't use the reset button to import a new channel list.
Now the auto-map work perfect.

The deleting of recordings inclusive the xml and the folder work too.

Found one other thing. After using the Keyword Search the result is showing not in horizontal order. Is it right? everywhere i have set horizontal order.

Ive downloaded your versions 0_1_0_4 thru to 0_1_0_9, however
I am still seeing this message when I try to logon via IE 7 :-

"The TV Server database is currently unavailable.
Please try again later"

The TV server is up and running, plus I can log in manually to SQL Server using the log-in I created for the Web Interface. I have also created an ODBC connection and this works fine too.

Any ideas of what this problems could be? as i followed your install docs very carefully and have retraced my steps a few times now but get back to the same error message

Did you use SQL Server Express or another SQL version, because I had the exact same problem when testing with SQL Server(not express) and with the express edition it worked flawles.

I think that the server adress is automatically changed from "SERVERNAME" to "SERVERNAME\SQLEXPRESS" and when using a different edition it doesn't work.

I'm just guessing here...
