Question New Version 0.1.0.10

Hi All,

Added support for MSSQL 2550 (not express) and MSSQL 2000 databases.

I can not test these myself, as I don't have access to them. The new setup for these databases is "theoretical" as it is based only on the documentation.

I would be grateful to anyone who could test them and let me know the result.

Regards
Kev

Hi Jarod,

I left this one in vertical display as I am not sure how many results may be returned - and over how many days. Each channel has its own column that can contain different number of results for different number of days.

It was quite a stretch for my tired old brain to get the horizontal display working when the time periods were fixed!

If you have a mock-up of the format you would like to see this information in, I would be interested in taking a look.

Do you think it would be a worthwhile exercise to allow listings by genre or classification...or is this data too unreliable for you - I know mine is (too many genres / classifications!)

Regards Kev

hey BK, did you see my post a little ways up about the issue with deleting recordings?
I imagine it's not that big an issue and going by your past work should only take you a few seconds to fix

BK, you really are a machine

Are you in Melbourne? When I'm finally back home I want to buy you a beer ;-)

Thanks for the updates. You really did take only a few seconds to implement the changes I asked for.

Hi Kev,

I was wondering. are you still thinking about rewriting the webserver app. as an isapi.dll for IIS.

Hey Kev,

Since you are developing this at a million miles per hour perhaps you have some time to look at the TvScheduler service I just uploaded (http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/ru...ce-t26158.html) and check if it's doable for you to have your webinterface modified to run on top of that?

Cheers!

Excellent work Kev,

A couple things;
1- how about a manual recording option, where one just chooses the channel, and length that the recording should be, options, etc. (rather than having to find it in the guide and click it there)
2-on a search, it will display results in vertical format, even though I have the setup to display program guide in horizontal.
3-on a search - is it possible to only show returned results/channels rather than the entire channel list?
4-edit the login form, so that fields user/pass can be saved.

Many thanks for this great program.

Hi Kev,

i will think about an other format. but the one you choose seems to be the best one.
Don't think that more information in the list are needed.

PS: The manual recording what ronsonol say will be an good idea, because i don't have epg on every channel so i can set an schedule manual.

Like the program so much

EDIT:Maybe a translation of the program is an option?

Mfg Jarod
