Big_Kev,

First of all, again a big thank you as i now had a change to look at it.

New idea. I love the vertical layout, it now works with "blocks". This is the same as many guide websites, my question is; Is it possible to make these blocks configurable? One of the blocks now start at 21:00, and i rather have it started at 20:30 (as that is the time all soaps are finished here in holland and i finally get control of the remote from my wife)

So if i can add / change / edit those blocks from within the config program. Just a small grid with; block number, start time, end time. Maybe you can even integrate it into the users screen so every user have his own preferences.

Hope you understand what i mean, otherwise just let me know.

thanks,
peter

Here is an update to the german translation.

There still are some parts of the webinterface in english:

1. The word "All" in the channelgroup dropdownmenu of the "Program Guide"
2. The word "priority" in the "Recording Priority" section
3. The word "default" in the card dropdownmenu of the "Add Manual Recording" section
4. The word "channel" in the "Show Recorded Programs" section
5. The expression "watched ... times" in the "Show Recorded Programs" section
6. The button "DELETE" in the "Show Recorded Programs" section
7. The word "All" in every dropdownmenu of the "Keyword Search" section

I have another question regarding the translation:
I changed the translation for "TV Server Scheduling" to "Use TV server for recording schedules" (in german) and "TVScheduler Service" in "use external application for recording schedules" (in german).
I don't know what purpose this menu option has so I want to ask whether I got the point ?

Looks Promising... I will have a play with it.

Big_Kev, if javascript is not a problem for you or the web server, maybe you can have a look at this;
http://extjs.com/ but then in particular this; http://extjs.com/deploy/dev/examples...p/desktop.html

So beautiful, if i could only understand javascript

Default New Version 0.1.2.5

This version has new translations as well as fixes in the program to access some fields that were not translating properly.

Yes, that looks correct. TvScheduler is an application developed by dvdfreak that allows scheduling by rules. Some users have asked to have it integrated into the Web Interface.

I have started work on this - using the program guide as a "test" page, but I have not done any more as dvdfreak has been busy with other things as well and has not had an opportunity to test this for me yet...

Sorry, I have enough problems remembering my own name sometimes!

Thanks again for the new translations.

Thanks also to Marko (jerma) for the Finnish translations.

Kev

Thanks Kev.

About the recording, and handling the recording it self...

Scheduling from a link in the TV Guide works great, and manual recording also work as it should. I don't see a reason to start working in these other than the outlook of the html -pages.

What about the ability to start and stop recordings on-the-fly ? As i mentioned earlyer, if i try to schedule a program that is allready running, the web interface returns just a blank page (does not crash anymore) and the reconrding doesn't start. The web interface could do a check, that if i am trying to schedule a program that is allready running it gives me the option to "start recording" other than "add schedule" and the end-time for it would be as in a normal scheduled recording.

Also, it may happen that i have a scheduled recording running (let's say allready on the "after+5mins") and i notice another show that i would like to start recording right away. There is no way to stop the ongoing recording, and therefore i can't start a new one (my tv card is so crappy, that i only have 1 tuner).

Is the TV Server itself capable of prosessing these kind on commands ?

Kev, about the new version, i haven't had the time to try it out yet, sence i'm buildin a seperate PC to run the TV Server and Web Interface on. I'll check it tonight.

Default New Version 0.1.2.6

New Version...

Includes new HTML templates with correct translated titles on pages.

Can translate Manager program title - how it appears on the taskbar and in Task Manager etc.

There are a few more new lines to translate if someone could help out for German and Finnish

Lines are

MP Web Interface
MediaPortal Web Interface Manager

Lines are now sorted alphabetically with any new lines at the bottom.

The Web Interface interacts with the Database for the TV Server, not directly with the TV Server itself. So you can change things in advance, or delete things that have already happened, but at the moment it does not interact with the TV service itself.

Maybe I can do that - it would be useful for the situations you describe... I will see if I can figure it out.

Most of my programming is with databases, so I found the Web Interface very straight forward. The TV Server itself may be a little more difficult.

Kev

Hi Kev

Must have missed something. After installing v1.2.6 I get a "cannot display page" error from IE after selecting the "Show Program Guide" button. In fact all of the button generate the same error. Has there been a dependency added that I could have missed. PS all was working fine in v1.0.14 but seems to have failed after moving to v1.2.1.

Any help would be appreciated.

PS The only menu option that works as expected is - TV Service Status... Plus I am now getting a number of Errors in the Event log i.e. szAppName : MPWebInt.exe szAppVer : 0.1.0.2 szModName : kernel32.dll
szModVer : 5.1.2600.3119 offset : 00012a5b.

Cheers Mike

Kev,
I have two suggestions:

1) Allow the Auto-login IP for each account to contain wildcards. (This way I can auto-login from anywhere on my local network by allowing 192.168.1.*)

2) On the TV server status, is it possible to show what is currently being recorded?

I love the Auto-login feature, by the way. Some how I never noticed it until today.
