Maby this is asked before sorry if I repeating it again...

Is there anyway to "hide" programs that is in past time on the main page (TV Guide View)?

Is there any way to "group" your recordings?

Thx again

I should be able to do this, I will put it as an option - it will be for the vertical / PDA views only, as the horizontal view is already in time divisions.

Sounds like a good idea, any suggestions on grouping options?

By Program - by genre - by watched/unwatched - by classification - by channel...

What do you think?

Default New Version 0.3.0.08 Beta

Hi All,

New Features
  • Option to hide programs that have already finished. This will apply to vertical and PDA guide. See new checkbox on "Appearance" page of the Manager. (Thanks Keldandorin)

Fixes
  • Changed the order that pages are loaded so that custom pages for the normal format are now not served before normal PDA pages in PDA mode. Order for PDA now is... 1. check for custom PDA page, 2. Check for normal PDA page, 3. Serve default normal page

Regards
Kev

I am not an experienced user, but following you guide and using your program is very easy - and it is just GREAT. I especially like your PDA feature - works flawless on my new iPhone :-)

hmmm...Just found out that adding a program on the webserver does not add this to the "real" MP server. It is set as recorded in the webserver but not on the MP server (or client)?

Is there some sort of delay?

There should not be a delay... The only thing that I can think of that would account for you seeing a recording in the interface but not in MediaPortal, is that you have recently upgraded versions of MP.

This can change the database name from the original "TvLibrary" to "MpTvDbRC2" for RC2 or "MpTvDbRC1" for RC1.

If your interface is still pointing to the old database, then changes etc there will not show in MediaPortal. If you do an upgrade as a "one click install" then I think you end up with 2 databases.

Go to the Web Interface Manager and try the other database names and try the Test Login button, or you can use the MySQL Administrator tool / MSSQL Management Studio Express to check.

I am only guessing here, so let me know how it goes...

I have an idea how I like to have it grouped but my guess is that there is a 100 different ways to do it

In the TV server configuration you have something that looks like this (for me)
%title% \%title% - %date% - %start% This can be translated to \Stargate SG1\Stargate SG1-2008-08-29-20_15.mpg

This is how I have made it but there is totaly 20 variables to use so my sugestion is to take a look in the TV server database and use the settings from there.
Think they are id 26 and 27 in the settings table . One is for move and one for series not sure how that works but I guess there is a settings for what you have configured in the tv server settings.

This way everyone can use there own way and only have to configure it ones.

THX alot for the hide feature.
Problem is right now that I cant see any programs when using "hide",just the channel icons and names. Can it be because I'm using risu's interface?

I have a feeling that there could have been an incorrect file uploaded for version 0.3.0.08.

I has not sure, so I re-uploaded it a few hours after the original upload.

Try downloading again and see what happens.

I am running Risu's interface without problems.

Is there a way to get a view of scheduled or upcoming recordings in a vertical listings format instead of a couple of listings across?
