Big_Kev,
I seem to recall that the TVServer has a timeout on the TV Stream connections. I think it is set to default 30 seconds before the client is disconnected. The client has to send some sort of poll to the server to keep the connection alive. how you update this, I have no clue but this maybe the cause of your disconnections.

Also, I'm wondering if you could look at how MPWebInt sorts channels. Currently, I use the Group screen to sort my channels by channel number which sorts it properly in my Guide. However, MPWebInt wouldn't follow this sort order. Would it be possible to use the same sort method as the Guide?

Thanks.
Big_Kev,

Regarding the Channel sorting, I found the sort by screen, but even though the test shows the correct sorting, for ex. by ServiceID when I look at the Guide in the WebInt it's still out of order. Also, I don't see a way to sort descending instead of ascending.

Thanks.

PS. Let me know if you got my donation.

The main reason for this is that my current laptop is now 5 years old (about 105 in computer years!) and I spend more of my limited development time for this project just waiting for things to open or compile, than I do coding!

Any contribution that you could make would be greatly appreciated and help enormously.

Please don't feel in any way obliged to donate, this is freeware and always will be.
You forgotten to tell me that it is online now.

I just used it and i hope that the others will do as well.

I just donated a bit too. This is my most used plugin, keep up the good work Hope you can afford a new laptop soon

Default Streaming News...

VLC Issues solved by installing the latest version...

I spent many hours over the weekend tying to get the telnet interface on VLM (VLC) working, as it offered much more control over the streaming process - only to discover that it does not work reliably under windows.

If it is fixed in the next release, I will change back to it...

There are some other issues with VLC that I need to work around when not using the telnet stuff...

I will put some more time into this to see if I can get a workable remote solution that is not too convoluted - then come back to the other issues.

Thanks everyone for your donations! It is a little hard to tell from the PayPal information who is who, as the names are different!

Regards
Kev
