Country: | Just added the possibility to dump the unfiltered, raw ts stream. That means, the whole transponder, including all pids can be dumped to a file for debug purposes. This was only possible with external tool which were not for free or did not work with all DVB cards. Now it's possible directly from inside TVEngine 3 How it works? - Just create a file C:\dumprawts.txt - Start timeshifting -> a file called raw_paket_dump.ts is created in the same folder as the timeshift file which contains all streams of the transponder. BE CAREFUL: - the file grows very quickly in size since it contains the whole transponder - Only create the C:\dumprawts.txt, start timeshifting (for debugging) and then stop timeshifting and remove the file. This should NOT be enabled for every day use. This feature is available beginning from rev. 15669

| Portal Member | Are there any simple programs to split channels to files from complete ts-dump? I tried projectx but couldn't find any suitable options for demuxing different video streams/packets. I'm asking this as full dump would currently be the only way to record teletextsubs with tvserver3. |

| Portal Member | No they don't. At least VLC doesn't display them nor find subtitle options. Sometimes VLC tells there are teletext available but there's no data. It was same with dvb-subs before but it has just been fixed on SVN by tourettes. Also misterd mentioned on teletext-subtitle thread that tswriter should be modified to record teletext-subs. |
