Lightbulb TV Player application for TVEngine3

Tv Player is a network rtsp player for TVEngine3.
I have fixed some bug and work nice.

You can connect to an rstp url for view live stream. You can also go back and forward using the timeshift.

Parts of code in this application is based on MediaPortal RTSPPlayer Class and use rtspsource.ax filter.

The source code is located here

Nice one.
I thought about adding included rtsp playback to my MPTvClient http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/an...nt-t18900.html and you have just done an rtsp player.
So i have the TvEngine3 interface and controllers and you have the player -
how about putting things together?

I think to make in next version some correction and separate the player in a user control that any people can include in their application and show more than one tv stream.
Do you like this idea?

Some news about TVPlayer control.

I start to build the TVPlayer control that any people can integrate in their application or plugin for TvEngine.

This control receive the rtsp stream from TVEngine.
With this control you can:
- open/close rtsp stream url
- play/stop/pause
- seek back/forward with timeshift
- seek live tv
- toggle fullscreen with doubleclick on video
- mute/unmute audio

I think to release the first version in one or two week. (I coding it on free time)

I have posted a screenshot of a sample application that contains two TVPlayer control and play at same time two channel.

Do you have any suggestion?

Surely adding all these features just goes in direct competition with the Media Portal Client?!

Now, if the intention is to use the app as a demo of how to use your TVPlayer control, that's a different matter.

I think providing the control for 3rd party apps to use is a great idea. I myself might incorporate it into my Web Service Remote Control Test harness application instead of the VLC COM Object which is incredibly limited...

Thanks!

No, I dont want to replace Mediaportal, but I want only schedule manually and control the recordings from my old notebook or development PC without install Mediaportal on it.

Mediaportal is installed on my HTPC.
