In the first post is a screenshot of my version of the webinterface. Not a good looking, but is working.

But if you meaned the official version - it was eye candy and there might found some screenshots in the forum if you search. It looked similar to : http://www.asciiexpress.com/webguide/
I don't know status of that project, but I belive that it will be re-released soon with a new look and feel. I really recommend that most users should wait that release.

What comes in development status of this simple php webinterface I consider it as good enough for me and I have no plans to do any upgrades - lazy as I am.

Source code is available and anyone can continue with it or rip parts from it and remake the whole thing. I'll try to help if someone asks for it, but it might take some time cause I'm not quite active in this forum...

Hi goatse,

I previously used a HTPC that had web-based scheduling SW and it was very useful when travelling so I thought I'd try your solution.

Having spent some hours now trying to get it to work I could use a helping hand from a kind soul...

- I've got EasyPHP working (have some prior experience with it)

- It finds your index.php OK

and now the struggle starts. I get the error message above about "default driver" and I have no idea how to configure the ODBC-environment.

I have a the very basic single-seat TV3 setup, using MS SQL as the database.

Can I ask you to provide some step-by-step instructions what I need to do to get it working?

Many thanks in advance!

/Peter

petsa, I spent some time getting this thing set up the other night and in the end I ended up uninstalling it. I decided ultimately that at this point it's easier for me to use a remote desktop connection to schedule my programming.

@ petsa:

What error do you get exactly ? Have you ensured that the easyPHP database server is disabled ? I don't really know this application so I cannot tell if it will work. I use a standalone apache installation to run it but also succesfully tested it on xampp lite by disabling the internal database.

Just wanted to share that I was successful in setting this up for the mssql database.

The only thing I had to change was the date-format. My XP is dutch, so I think the localization settings were just a bit different.. but Y-d-m did the trick.

Works fine for me !! Thank you.

All layout files like gfx/css styles/scripts etc have been removed from SVN for now until we found out which ones are left-overs from WebGuide4 and need to be replaced with our own graphics/styles.

Kick

Am still using this web interface. Works like a charm.

Only thing I had to do for RC1 was change the databasename in index.php, because RC1 uses a different name.

Change TvLibrary to MpTvDbRC1
