| Hey All Well.. Im very new into this "Mediaportal universe", but since I read about your TV server, I must say that I cant wait to see it in a final release... The upcomming server part is great, but the front-end client lacks is missing a well-designed user-interface. As I understand your are currently using DirectX as engine in your client, right? MY suggestion would be that you should look at Windows Presentation Foundation as the UI engine. The performance is great. You have a lot great designer tools. People could use Microsoft Expression Blend to create skins with ease. And it should be possible to create a Vista-MCE-like-interface with WPF.. Just my cents.. |

Country: | There is already a trunk in SVN about this. The dev team is working on it, but as far as I know the main resources (esp. our gentlehobbit) are working on getting the server release ready.
