Country: | TV-Server Version: v0.3 SVN 14052 Windows Version: MS Windows Server 2003 Standard SP2 1. TV Card: Hauppauge Nova-t 500 1. TV Card Type: DVB-t 1. TV Card Driver: v4.2.25032.0 Synopsis: I had a bit of spare time over the weekend so I thought I would give the TV-Server another go. Uninstalled the previous version and deleted the previous database. Then installed TV-Server SVN 14052, which created a new database for me. I'm on the Durris transmitter in the UK, and the problem is that the tuning process is not able to enumerate the channel names on one particular frequency (658000kHz). The other frequencies are OK. A scan with Hauppauge's utility picks up the names fine. Log files from TV-Server and Hauppauge utility attached. |

| MP Donator ![]() | I think I'm seeing the same problem. I'd assumed is was a signal level issue but perhaps it isn't. Which of the muxs had the missing names? In my case it was the one that includes Film4. My report is over in the support forum (because I didn't think it was a bug!).... http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/mi...ux-t22055.html Let me know if you need my logs... It is easy to reproduce it basically happens on every scan.. Is there anything odd about that mux? I think for me it is the lowest power one. Not sure if it may also be using a different sort of encoding... It also happens to be that last one scanned. Andy |

Country: | This also has only recently, ie last 3 weeks been happening to me with frequency 810000 on winter hill, seems to take slightly longer to scan that frequency and no names appear. Just tried with tonights avaialbe update still the same, old version no problem with names, just having a bit of trouble finding a working version of TVE3 as had to reinstall XP and then my frigging memory modules decided to give up the ghost, such is life. Will see how far back have to go to get a working version.

Country: | Interestingly in my case it is also the MUX with Film4: Quote:
Wild guess... First channel in the MUX is "ITV2 +1". I noticed that the other "+1" channels don't have a space, i.e. "Film4+1" and "E4+1". The space shouldn't be an issue as it appears on other channel names, but maybe the fact that it is followed by "+1" causes issues. I don't know how the TV-Server works so apologies if I'm talking cr*p. | |

| Portal Tester | Same MUX here from MENDIP. FILM4 MUX D. Problem started a couple of weeks ago also affects the EPG as the information is missing the channels get ignored in the EPG. Problem has been reported in another thread and with logs but was ignored. Using TV .2 and the Scan has no problems with the MUX D also the digitv software sees no problems with the MUX aswell. |

Country: | In that case my "+1" observation can be ignored, as "ITV2 +1" appeared before the 31st of March: Quote:
