This release of the ATI software driver version 8.54 introduces the ability for users to control the speed of the GPU fan when running in accelerated graphics.
Force Component Video Detection

This release allows users the option in Catalyst Control Center to force Component Video detection in the Display Options aspect. By selecting this option user are able to adjust the Component Video property settings (without a device being physically attached) allowing user to change format and frequency to a desired value. The selected values will be applied to the display once a component video display device get connected. The feature is applicable for all AMD products supporting Component Video.

sollte das etwa bedeuten, dass ich endlich meinen fernseher mal ausschalten kann ohne dannach den rechner neu starten zu müssen?

Im CCC unter ATI Overdrive. Meine HIS HD4850 IceQ 4 interessiert es allerdings nicht, was ich am Regler einstelle.

die Lüftersteuerung funktioniert nur bei HD4000 Karten. Siehe hier: ComputerBase - ATi Catalyst 8.10 bringt Lüftersteuerung

Hallo bei mir gibt es auch keinen Regler vermute aber es hängt damit zusammen das ich Crossfire einsetze habe 2* 3870 eingebaut. Die 2. Karte wird allerdings als 3800 Series erkannt, wurde mir aber gesagt das sei normal.

Aber den Regler gibt es bei mir definitiv nicht verwende VISTA 64 bit Ultimate

Bei intakter Hardware gab's höchstens bei einer Catalyst-Version (8.6?) beim ersten Neustart nach dem Update einen BSOD. In allen anderen Fällen gibt's nen individuellen Fehler auf deinem System.

Generell läuft die 3200 eigentlich schon mit dem 8.9er sehr stabil.

Wird dann bei Dir auch kein Eingangssignal vom Fernseher mehr erkannt?
Dann probier mal den Bildschirmschoner starten zu lassen. Beim meinem TV habe ich dann wieder Bild. Bildschirmschoner kann man ggf. auch per Shortcut aktivieren.
