I'm running MP 0.2.3.0 stable and have tried the latest version of the downloader and also get the "Access violation at address 0041D770 in module "oztvmprt.exe". Read of address 00000004" when resetting the grid, or an SQL error when trying to load the MP TV stations.

I'm not running TV Server, just MP and TV engine.

It all works fine with the older .10 though (just reinstalled it over the top of the latest and worked fine again).

Hope you manage to get it all sorted Kev.

No need to apologise mate, .8 works as intended so that's good enough for us.

As whatisk has mentioned, .10 works as well. Which latest version works for XP/TV Engine? Does .12 work as that has the "xmltv.locost7.info" option which makes life a bit easier for some?

Thanks for hosting the older version Jim.
Sorry S.O.P.

I am still working on that... It is a complete mystery to me why my SQLite components stopped working and nothing I have tried has fixed the problem.

It is looking pretty hopeless at the moment I am afraid.

I agree - thanks Jim from me too!

No problem guys! Just hit that "thanks" button on a few of my posts and I'll be happy. I going for the record for the best thanks to posts ratio. I've been sitting equal to the bot for a while now.

Default Problems with Australian TV Guide Downloader

Hey guys,
I just downloaded and tried out the Australian TV Guide Downloader and after following the instructions and clicking on Download New Data Now, i get the following error message.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Assertion Failed!

Program: ...gram Files\Oz TV Guide Downloader\oztvmprt.exe
File: ../src/btree.c
Line: 1151

Expression: pBt->maxLeaf + 23 <=MX_CELL_SIZE

For more information on how your program can cause an assertion
failure, see the Visual C++ documentation on asserts

(Press Retry to debug the application - JLT must be enabled)

Any ideas on what could be causing this error?

I also get errors when clicking on save to save the config.

Look for an older version posted elsewhere in this thread to fix your problems. Did for me.

ABC and SBS already broadcast 7 days of data.

Unfortunately I only have one tuner card so I can only grab EPG data on the channel I am watching or when MP is idle so I will still be using xmltv for a while.

Is this for real? And for 7 days? Sounds to good to be true! I'll wait till jan 1 to switch over from net epg to air epg.
This is SO good
Thanks for the tip

Yes, it is for real,. The EPG data is sent now for all channels.
Personally i like the Big_Kevs application more for two reasons:
1. The EPG is always available for use, when if you want to use transmitted DVB EPG you have to wait few moments for data to get downkoaded;
2. XMLTV data is more accurate, when with DVB EPG you get sometimes wrong timing and programming. I noticed this problem especially using channel 10 data.
The only thing I am wishing is for BigPKev to sort out latest problems. The only thing I am missing is ability to merge channel's data. As I mentioned earlier I managed to run version 11 as highest version.
I wonder if it's possible for Big_Kev just to update version 8 with merging functions and release it as let's say version 8a. In the case I think the application will be very usefull and useable for everyone.

Default Gaps in my TV Guide

Hi I'm hoping someone may be able to help. I have 2 identical machines with MP 0.2.3.0 installed. Identical setups as well.

I am using Big Kev's application (version 1.1.1.8) to download my Tv Guide, I can't get 1.1.14 to work.

Version 1.1.1.8 works perfectly on one machine but on the other I have gaps in my TV Guide. (I'm using Wktivo)

I have cleared the TV Database several times and reloaded and I get the same gaps. I have disabled all other grabbers and I also have Grab EPG from DVB stream disabled.

I have also tried to grab the EPG from the DVB stream I get gaps in that guide as well.

I have even done a clean install and still get the same problem, I have also tried to install and earlier version of .0.2.3.0 RC3 and still the same problem

I am not game to touch or change anything on the working machine in case the problem manifests itself there as well (If it's not broken don't fix it)

You may be asking why I have 2 machines. I am building the second machine for my brother. As mine is working faultlessly I figured I would build an identical system.

The only difference between the two machines in that I have had earlier versions of MP installed on mine.

Any suggestions would be fantastic.

hi,
Is there any way to make the tv guide output as xml file , with the channel name change script in it??
I have a remote HTPC that hasnt got net access so it would be nice to able to put "tvguide.xml" into Mps XMLTV directory once per week and be done with it.-- im using OZTIVO..
Maybe it can already do this and Im just not getting it.
thanks
